Ozaukee County Farmland Preservation Plan Events

Learn about the Farmland Preservation Plan for Ozaukee County: 2050 

Attendees will learn more about the State’s Working Lands Initiative (Farmland Preservation
Program) including planning, tax credits, PACE, and AEAs as well as the final draft Farmland
Preservation Plan for Ozaukee County: 2050, including inventory, recommendations, farmland
preservation areas, and the results of the 2025 target audience opinion survey. The public will have
the opportunity to both learn about and comment on the plan at these meetings. Staff from the
Ozaukee County Planning & Parks Department and the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning
Commission will be on hand to answer questions during the open house.

A public hearing will be held on the final draft Farmland Preservation Plan for Ozaukee
County: 2050 by the Ozaukee County Comprehensive Planning Board on Wednesday,
October 1, 2025, at which time the Comprehensive Planning Board will also, after the
public hearing, review and potentially approve and recommend adoption of the final draft
Farmland Preservation Plan for Ozaukee County by the Ozaukee County Board of Supervisors.
