Hello everyone,

 I want to bring you up to date on recent changes at Town Hall.    Our Clerk Sara Jacoby left to take a job in the Town of Cedarburg on short notice.   This leaves us with only Bonnie in the office doing tax collections and getting ready for the February primary election.    Raquel Engelke, the clerk for the Town of Saukville, has offered to help us out in the interim.   However, her office hours will be limited, as she will be taking care of mainly the statutory duties of the clerk.   It will take some time before she has a working knowledge of all that we do here.   When she answers the phone, please be patient while she learns her way around.  Whether this arrangement is temporary or longer term is too soon to determine.

Bonnie will be manning the office alone with Raquel’s help on a few partial days.   You will likely get the answering machine more often than normal.   Also, Bonnie and I had a February vacation previously planned, so we will need to close the office at the end of February of a week.  We will have instructions on the website and answering machine as to where to direct your inquiries.

We will be looking for additional administrative help in the meantime, but hiring and training someone will take time.   We ask for your patience during this transition.
