LANE CLOSURES on PLEASANT VALLEY ROAD

Installation of a new water main along the south shoulder of Pleasant Valley Road between Edgewood Drive and Parkwood Court is planned to begin by the middle of next week.

The work will close the southern lane of Pleasant Valley Road during daytime working hours. The northern lane will be utilized for both eastbound and westbound traffic, controlled by temporary traffic signals. Approximate locations of the temporary signals are shown on the map at the link below. Some additional warning signs are to be placed near CTH O and Maple Road.

The roadway will be reopened when construction operations are complete each night, and the traffic signals will be placed in yellow flashing mode. Bump signs will be added if there are any portions of roadway that are opened as gravel.

This work is anticipated to take two to three weeks to complete.

The new water main does need to cross Pleasant Valley Road, causing a full closure of Pleasant Valley in this area for two to three days. Those dates are yet to be determined at this time, but will be announced once they are known.
